Dogs are animals and by nature each will react differently and can be unpredictable at times therefore can present a certain level of risk. Pitter Patter Paws Staff will administer any first aid to any injuries that may occur and notify owners as soon as possible.
The Salon (GROOMING)
Grooming can be a stressful and physically demanding process for dogs, all health and behaviour issues must be disclosed to Pitter Patter Paws Staff on check in.
Pitter Patter Paws puts your dog’s comfort and wellbeing above all else. In the event of matting, groomers may need to clip the coat shorter than requested as de-matting is a painful and unnecessary process.
Clipping a matted dog, may reveal pre-existing conditions such as skin irritation, sores, fleas etc.
Matting can also increase the risk of injury during grooming including nicks, cuts, clipper rash, hematomas, extra mental/physical stress etc.
Additional matting fees will apply at the discretion of Pitter Patter Paws Staff.
Our groomers will make this process as safe as possible for all dogs, by taking extra time with matted, difficult, and anxious dogs where necessary.
The total grooming process can take 3 or more hours depending on breed, size, condition, and coat type.
Fleas and other parasites must be disclosed to Pitter Patter Paws Staff on check in. If your dog is found with fleas, they will be flea bathed with the additional cost added on to your booking.
In the event of any deviation from the requested groom, due to fleas, matting, behaviour etc. we will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible, but we will make the best choice for the well-being, and comfort of your dog(s)
Pitter Patter Paws staff may refuse service due to behaviour, condition, and/or health.
